Competition “Dolls to the Sounds of Chopin”

Dear artist, regardless of your participation in the exhibition, you are welcome to take part in the competition “Doll to the Sounds of Chopin,” which will be held offline as part of our exhibition.

The choice of theme is inspired by the organizers’ desire to find additional points of connection between the Polish and Lithuanian nations.

The great composer was born near Warsaw, but his family had Polish–Lithuanian roots, as at that time Polish and Lithuanian cultures were closely intertwined.

The flexible interpretation of the competition title gives participants the opportunity to choose from a wide range of creative ideas.

Music and musicians, evocative titles of the composer’s works, dolls dancing to the sounds of his polonaises and mazurkas, a city wrapped in magical music — this is only a small part of the possible ideas.

Participants

• anyone interested, even if not participating in the exhibition

• artists working in various techniques — from textile to porcelain dolls

• professionals ready for new experiments

• beginner artists at the start of their creative journey

• submitted by completing the form on the website and providing high-quality photographs of the work by 20.07.2026
